Biografi Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq. Abu Bakar Ash Shiddiq lahir bersamaan dengan tahun kelahiran Nabi Muhammad Saw. pada 572 Masehi di Mekah, berasal dari keturunan Bani Taim, suku Quraisy. Nama aslinya adalah Abdullah ibni Abi Quhaafah. Ayahnya bernama Uthman Abu Quhafa dan ibunya bernama Salma Umm-ul-Khair.
